It would seem it’s never too early for The Friends of The Children of EMAUS charity who, every year since 2022, have been organising two huge Chrsitmas fayres at Salones Carrasco in Javea, the dates are 8th and 22nd November from 11am.
This year, the fayres have 3 new sponsors. KrazyKraftz, Javea Home Improvements and VillaMía, joining regulars Lumon, Scorchio! and long time sponsor Turner Insurance.
All profits from the fayres go to suppport children in care homes across the region. We aim to exceed last year’s total for the charity of over 7600€
At each fayre, with footfall exceeding 2500, organised trips of happy shoppers confirmed for 2026 (thank you Barbara Banks and U3A Calpe) and over 120 stallholders across the fayres, you can expect to see a variety of stalls selling everything from Christmas crafts, crochet, knitted toys, wine, spirits, cakes, biscuits, sweets, clothing, bags and accessories, gifts for children, jewellery of every type imaginable, candles, beauty products, Christmas cards and crackers, health foods, books, flowers, art to suit all tastes, and you can even enjoy a relaxing massage.
Santa will be there in his magical grotto with his elves to see children and family pets. Visits cost 2€ per child and includes a gift and photo opportunity.
With delicious food provided by the venue, and fabulous entertainment from The Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir, Montgo Chorale and Caprice Ladies, The Jukes, Adele, and Pam’s dancers, these fayres are not to be missed.
Entry is just 1€.
There is a raffle which includes 3 hampers, one donated by Vicens Ash, and a large number of individual prizes, all generously donated, with tickets at 1€.
A Charlie Bear large teddy bear for the “Name the Bear” competition, donated by The Bear Shop in Norwich, UK.
Ale Hop are, once again, providing gifts for the “everyone’s a winner” tombola. Their support never waivers.
