The Arts Society Marina Alta members are exhibiting their artwork in appreciation of Joaquín Sorolla.

This renowned Spanish painter visited Jávea often and his vibrant and luminous work invariably depicted the beach, fishermen and sunlit landscapes that we enjoy every day.

You are welcome to join us at the opening reception on 2 October, at the Soler Blasco Museum in Jávea old town.

We shall be presenting a lecture on ‘130 Years of Sorolla: Master of Light’, by Arantxa Sardina, on Wednesday, 4 November at Espai La Senieta, Moraira and the Casa de la Cultura, Jávea.
