Cantamus: The choir is looking for new members, in all voice groups, to join them. The choir sings a selection of inspirational or uplifting songs. Members are provided with all the music and tracks to learn to, so you can practice at home between rehearsals. Now would be a great time to contact Philip on 638 734 285 and he will be happy to give you all the details about the choir. They rehearse on a Monday morning 10:45 to 13:00 and will be happy to welcome you.
Canto Mundial are a truly international choir, based in Alfaz del Pí, with members from several different nations. The group sings a wide range of music from Classical to Musical Theatre in multiple languages. All rehearsals are conducted in English. Caprice ladies choir is delighted to have helped raise almost 3,000€ for local charities in their last three concerts. They are now working on the songs for their concerts next Spring. Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir 2025 Winter Programme: Our winter programme features several important performances in aid of worthwhile charities. 23 Nov will we be at Salones Carasco singing to support raising money for the Friends of Emaus Children during the Christmas fayre in Javea. 14 Nov, 9pm Orchestral Concert at San Bartolomé Church of Javea. 15 Nov, for those who wish to follow us to the Torrevieja region: we will sing in a Band Concert in Benijofar. Exact location and details to be confirmed. 1 Dec 11am, performance at the December meeting of the Teulada Moraira meeting of U3A. Jávea Players: Auditions for Doubt, A Parable, which will be produced in the Studio Theatre on 9th-14th February, will take place on 5th and 7th November at 17.30. The characters are three females and a priest. Contact Director Tony Kitlinsky ynotek@telefonica.net for more details. The play explores the tension between faith and scepticism: doubt can provoke both anxiety and a deeper understanding.
The Phoenix Dancers Light Up the Costa Blanca. October was another exciting month for the team, filled with creativity and celebration. They embraced the spooky season with Halloween-themed photo shoots and lively performances, and were thrilled to be part of the prestigious Moors and Christians parade – one of Calpe’s most iconic fiestas. They are always welcoming new members to join their vibrant family – whether you’re a dancer, singer, costume maker, or part of the creative team, there’s a place for you to shine. TheatreSong Collective are dedicated to musical theatre. They also include solos, duets and small group numbers in their concerts. They are looking for new members, so if you enjoy singing showtunes and want to join the choir, please contact Philip on 965 581 483 or email philip@philipashley.com.
The Vall del Pop Singers are currently inviting new singers to join them on Tuesday afternoons in Alcalalí. There is no requirement to read music and the group sing a selection of popular songs. ACTS Community Theatre have had a very successful event. A 2 day Drama Workshop hosted by Bob Kelly a respected, talented actor from Ireland. Attending the Workshop were some members from local groups in the area. In the spirit of co-operation and team work it was good for us all to all work together. ACTS and those from the Rojales Pantomime Group and Studio 32 learnt a lot and had an amusing proactive and informative experience. We hope to repeat it again sometime in the future
Andante International Choir is the only choir in the Costa Blanca community devoted to sacred choral works and classical pieces. They meet in Los Montesinos at Calle San Antonio, 4 on Thursday nights from 7.15pm until 9pm. All are welcome to join them. They especially need tenors and basses. The Costa Blanca Singers are in full rehearsals for their upcoming performances in December for a variety of charity fund-raising events. The sets have many new songs and as always, there are some surprises in the choices. Details of all performances can be found by visiting www.costablancasingers.com. CBS are now in their fourth year since forming and membership has continued to grow. We enjoy much more than singing together. Crescendo International Choir: Do you like to sing? Every Monday evening Crescendo International Choir rehearses and we welcome new members. No previous experience required. Melody Makers Singing Group Quesada is an international, mixed singing group who sing a variety of music genres, from the 60s to modern day. We give lots of performances throughout the year and raise lots of money for local charities along the way. If you like to sing, want to have lots of fun doing it, make new friends and help good causes too, then why not come along to our fabulous venue at the CULTURAL CENTER QUESADA, Calle del Pino, 03170, Rojales. Rojales Pantomime Group: The routines are well rehearsed, the songs sung sweetly, the sound effects suspense filled, the costumes are ready and are sparkly gorgeous, the cast are well versed and we are ready to bring you a fun filled, all singing and dancing, hilarious pantomime – Oh yes we do!! Tickets are selling well at the outlets and via email. So, don’t miss out on a wonderful production that’s going to get you in the mood for the festive season. See you there! Oh yes we will!
The Stagestruck Players are busy with Murder Mysteries with regular events currently booked up to January 2026. The group meet weekly to rehearse so that they are able to change the scripts regularly. Some scripts require fancy dress and our last event at the Ship, Hispaniola, Torrevieja was no exception with an early Halloween theme. The evening was great fun and a huge success for our charity, the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association with an amazing total of 654€ being raised. Studio32 have three important events coming up soon and you are invited to all. On 15th &16th November we will be at the EXPO event at U3A Torrevieja showcasing what we do and available to answer all questions. Further details can be obtained by WhatsApp to Don 722 451 584. On Thursday 27th November at 6pm at Manifiesto, we invite you to our open evening where you can meet and talk to the team with any Studio32 musical theatre questions. Then, on Tuesday 2nd December,  we will be having a read through of our next show 9to5. An overview of the show, characters required and info on how we work will be the order of the evening.
