Cantamus: The choir is looking for new members, in all voice groups, to join them. The choir sings a selection of inspirational or uplifting songs. Members are provided with all the music and tracks to learn to, so you can practice at home between rehearsals. They rehearse on a Monday morning 10:45 to 13:00 and will be happy to welcome you.
Canto Mundial are a truly international choir, based in Alfaz del Pí, with members from several different nations. The group sings a wide range of music from Classical to Musical Theatre in multiple languages. All rehearsals are conducted in English. Caprice ladies choir are enjoying working on all new music to the choir for their next concerts in Spring 2027 when they will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. They sing a mixture of modern and older popular songs all in three part harmony. Careline Theatre: Join us for a fun evening of theatre in the Benidoleig auditorium. Our new productions are “Darlings You Were Wonderful”, a one act Comedy followed by, “The Fat Lady Sings in Little Grimley”. These comedy productions will be performed in June. Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: If you love listening to a male choir this is good news for you. The box office for our renowned Cave Concerts on June 12 & 13 is open. Due to popular demand we advise you to reserve early. We have chosen to dedicate this year’s proceeds mainly to Project4all, a charity organisation dedicated to providing daily meals and shelter for homeless people in our region. Phoenix Dancers are busy preparing for their annual charity show this June. The group, known for their love of singing, dancing, and giving back, is once again bringing the community together to raise funds for local causes. Rehearsals are well underway, and it’s not too late to get involved. Whether you enjoy performing or would prefer to help with costumes and behind-the-scenes work, new members are always welcome. The Vall del Pop Singers are currently inviting new singers to join them on Tuesday afternoons in Alcalalí. There is no requirement to read music and the group sing a selection of popular songs. ACTS Community Theatre: Next production “Drinking habits“. The group are polishing their parts enthusiastically to give a fun experience. This play is about naughty nuns with naughty habits. Mother superior has no idea of the devilish goings on. Certainly some prayers are answered as deceit, disguise and confusion reign. Secrets unravel love interests flourish. The Costa Blanca Singers are delighted to announce that their next performance will be on Sunday 10th May at The International Fiesta in La Marina urbanizacion. This annual event, hosted by San Fulgencio Ayuntamiento brings together many nationalities from the local community and beyond. Once again there will be a variety of performances highlighting the talent and diversity in the area, bringing together these many nationalities. The Costa Blanca Singers will perform from 4.30. What a way to kick off the Spring year! Let’s Rock brought the house down at their recent concert. There’s never a moment to spare in the Rojales Panto Group – the weekend of 11th and 12th April saw the group set up their very eye catching stall at the EXPO in Torrevieja. Despite it being exhausting, hectic and very busy, it was a rewarding experience for all of us. Now for the exciting news: ‘Peter Pan and The Lost Boys’ has been cast – so much enthusiasm and talent was on display which made for difficult decisions by our director, Julia Parker, to ensure we have the right person cast in the right role. Rehearsals start on 6th May and it’s going to be a fantastic start to Panto Season 2026. The Stagestruck Players are a Murder Mystery Group who perform in local bars to raise money for our chosen charity, the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association. The Comedy scripts are all original and written by Leigh Humphries, the group’s director. The scripts are changed each month to accommodate our regular followers. After the Murder, the suspects are questioned and the audience are encouraged, with guidance by either Inspector Clouseau or Detective Inspector Vera Stanhope to solve the crime. This is the month! Studio32 presents Dolly Parton’s musical theatre production of 9to5 and it hits Cardinal Belluga Theatre on 27th 28th 29th & 30th May. Everyone is excited and ticket sales have soared. Remaining tickets may be found online as most outlets have now sold out. Following on from the huge success of Sister Act, 9to5 promises to be equally successful. We are delighted to announce our October show ‘Now That’s What We Call Musicals’ will take bookings soon and in May 2027, Studio32 will present ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. In preparation for our next show, you are invited to attend the open evening on Tuesday 9th June when new members will be welcomed.
