The month of March brings celebrations, activities, walks, football and workshops for the days surrounding International Women’s Day 8M. EUWMA invites you to a morning gathering with coffee and inspiring talks: Women Today: Anger, Voice and Change. Friday 6 March 10am at the Restaurant of Jávea Golf Club. The day following features a screening of the documentary of Living Memories II, a tribute to working women of the past and present in Benitachell at the Social Centre at 20.00. On Tuesday 10 March at 18.00 Marina Gilabert of Classicas y Modernas will give a talk in the library of Benitachell.
Jávea’s equality department is coordinating numerous events around the themes of girls and women in culture and the arts, in migration and in pornography. The traditional joint declaration on equality and the accompanying cultural performance will take place on Friday the 6 March at noon in front of the town hall. EUWMA will participate.
Teulada Moraira is holding several events in schools, with the emphasis on education and respect.
