Arts and Crafts in the Port of Jávea 9th – 12th Oct 2026

Artists and artisans living and working in the Marina Alta region often come to the Jávea port promenade to showcase and sell their arts and crafts creations. During the summer, they were present every evening; the rest of the year, they set up their stalls on Saturday and Sunday mornings (or afternoons, during particularly hot weather). For the October long weekend, they will be there for four day: from the morning of Friday, the 9th of October (the Day of the Comunidad Valenciana) till the afternoon of Monday, the 12th (a national bank holiday).

If you love art and authentic craftsmanship and enjoy strolling by the sea, relaxing on a terrace with beautiful views of the port, the bay, and the mountains in the distance, there is nothing better than visiting this small yet select arts and crafts fair. While usually between 6 and 12 artisans attend on weekends, around fifteen are expected for the long weekend, each offering something unique to suit every taste.

Several artisans will be working right at their stalls, in pyrography, painting, or leather embossing. In many cases, they can personalise your chosen piece or even create something custom-made, such as a portrait of your pet, an embossed leather folder, or a jacket fitted to your size. A dedicated website lists the expected stalls: https://www.puebloartesano.es/javea.

You can find the fair’s location on Google Maps (search for “Artesanía Jávea”). It is open on Friday the 9th, Saturday the 10th, and Sunday the 11th of October from 9:00 am till 9:00 pm, and on Monday the 12th from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm.
