The next AFPO (The Association of Foreign Residents) meeting will be on Tuesday the 13th of October, at 10.30am in the Club de Tenis, Calpe. The guest speaker will be the AFPO webmaster, Michael Scannell, who will explain about the work he does on the website and how useful AI can be for the older generation. Keith Wildman continues to up date the website with news on a daily basis, for which we are very grateful.
The interpreters in the Centro de Salud of Calpe have worked tirelessly all through the summer. The multi lingual team are happy to help anyone who feels their Spanish is not good enough to communicate with their Doctor, it is not necessary to be an AFPO member to receive their help, we are delighted to help the foreign community in general. The interpreters are there from 9am to 12pm, every day from Monday to Friday. The contact representative is Noel Jackson on 620 687 633.
