The Original Charity Shop at the heart of Jávea

Many of us like browsing in the local Charity shops, and we are fortunate to have a great selection up and down the Costa Blanca. Most of them are dedicated to one particular cause, which could be cancer support, cats, dogs, children, older people or dementia care.
For more than half a century, The Original Charity Shop has been at the heart of Jávea, raising vital funds to support a wide range of worthy causes and local charities across the region.
Every year we raise significant amounts of money for charities through our vibrant shop, where quality pre-loved goods are sold at unbeatable prices. This incredible success is made possible thanks to the dedication of more than 85 passionate volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep the shop running smoothly and the community spirit alive.
Located at Carrer Nancy 1, in the Arenal area of Jávea, just a short stroll from the sandy beach, the shop breaks all stereotypes of a typical charity store. In January we did a full revamp, resulting in lots of positive feedback from our clients. Forget the cluttered, uninspired image you might have – The Original Charity Shop is bright, well-organised, and stocked with a constantly changing selection of high-quality second-hand clothing, household items, and more, all at affordable prices.
In addition to the shop we also have an English language Library and Bookshop in Jávea Park, where some 14,500 books are on loan for a small subscription, with other titles for sale at a euro each.
