Cantamus: The choir is looking for new members, in all voice groups, to join them. The choir sings a selection of inspirational or uplifting songs. Members are provided with all the music and tracks to learn to, so you can practice at home between rehearsals. Now would be a great time to contact Philip on

Canto Mundial are a truly international choir, based in Alfaz del Pí, with members from several different nations. The group sings a wide range of music from Classical to Musical Theatre in multiple languages. All rehearsals are conducted in English. Caprice ladies choir are enjoying working on all new music to the choir for their next concerts in Spring 2027 when they will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. They sing a mixture of modern and older popular songs all in three part harmony. Careline Theatre: We are excited to be presenting this Summer our first of a series of one act plays. The first evening will be, *”Darlings you were wonderful”! The play is about The Amazon Theatre Group who are to perform a little-known, passionate, Spanish drama in a festival. Amid multiple tensions and general chaos backstage, Lesley, the missing member, staggers in paralytically drunk and dressed in full motorcycle gear. Is the adjudicator impressed with the cast’s seething passion or is there true hatred here? The evening will include various “Tortillas” in the garden of the auditorium at Benidoleig. Fun and Food. The Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir is holding its summer concerts in the Cave at Benidoleig on 12th and 13th June. This atmospheric location truly enhances the already uplifting sound that the 30 male voices produce. There are also songs by member groups and of course a solo by our Musical Director, Bass/Baritone soloist John Oliver Edwards. A highlight will undoubtedly be the Choir backing our lovely guest soloist Florrie Wallace singing World In Union. Seats can be reserved by the donation of €15 from the Choir’s Box Office at costablancamalevoicechoir.com. The Charity chosen for support this year is Project 4 All, helping the local homeless.
Phoenix Dancers: As summer approaches, the talented ladies of the Phoenix Dancers are busy rehearsing for their much-loved annual charity show, taking place on Sunday 21st June at the open-air theatre at the Diamante Beach Hotel in Calpe. Doors open at 8:30pm, and tickets are now available from Marcia’s Dance Centre, with all proceeds supporting local charitable causes. The Vall del Pop Singers are currently inviting new singers to join them on Tuesday afternoons in Alcalalí. There is no requirement to read music and the group sing a selection of popular songs. The Costa Blanca Singers have had a wonderful time rehearsing and entertaining throughout spring. Their most recent performance was at The International Fiesta in La Marina urbanizacion. It was a lovely afternoon and enjoyed by hundreds of people. Thank you all so much for your support. The next season will start in September. Rojales Panto Group: Fun, laughter, song and excitement is definitely in the air as the cast get to grips with their roles in the Peter Pan and The Lost Boys script. 8Cast in the role of Peter Pan is our very experienced and talented actress, Dianne Scott. Cast in the role of Captain James Hook is another experienced actor, Dave Hart. We NEED MORE DANCERS, aged between 11 and 16. The Stagestruck Players are a Murder Mystery Group who perform original, comedy scripts in local bars to raise money for their chosen charity, the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association. The group meet weekly to rehearse and the scripts are changed regularly. Some scripts require fancy dress and a recent event most of the audience embraced the theme and dressed to impress. The evening was a lot of fun and €339 was raised for the charity. Our most sincere thanks go to each and every one of you that came to watch Studio32‘s Dolly Parton’s musical theatre production of 9to5. As you saw, the raw talent from ‘amateurs’, is incredible.
