Cantamus: The choir is looking for new members, in all voice groups, to join them. The choir sings a selection of inspirational or uplifting songs. Members are provided with all the music and tracks to learn to, so you can practice at home between rehearsals. They rehearse on a Monday morning 10:45 to 13:00 and will be happy to welcome you.
Canto Mundial are a truly international choir, based in Alfaz del Pí, with members from several different nations. The group sings a wide range of music from Classical to Musical Theatre in multiple languages. All rehearsals are conducted in English. Caprice ladies choir are enjoying working on all new music to the choir for their next concerts in Spring 2027 when they will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. They sing a mixture of modern and older popular songs all in three part harmony. Careline Theatre: We are excited to be presenting the comedy one act, “Darlings, You were wonderful”. Join us first for a selection of Spanish Tortillas in the Benidoleig Auditoriums Patio, followed by the play. Dates are July 17th 18th from 7pm and the 18th, 19th from 2pm. At the time of going to press The Phoenix Dancers were getting ready to perform at Hotel Diamante in Calpe for a wonderful charity show in aid of Project4All and the Protectora de Animales. The event was bound to be a great success if the rehearsals were anything to go by, raising a fantastic amount of money for these deserving causes. The Vall del Pop Singers are currently inviting new singers to join them on Tuesday afternoons in Alcalalí. There is no requirement to read music and the group sing a selection of popular songs. ACTS: We made the first of four charity donations to Mary & Branca at DEBRA, a charity that raises much needed funds for people suffering with “Butterfly Skin”. DEBRA is the leading charity for people with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Due to the success of our recent drama, “DRINKING HABITS” we gave 500€ to the local DEBRA charity in San Fulgencio, to assist patients with this rare genetic condition. With your continued support, we plan on continuing our charitable donations.

Rojales Pantomime Group: Much activity prevails as the scenery & props team make the large scenery pieces to bring the stage to life for Peter Pan & The Lost Boys. (3rd, 4th, 5th (Matinee and Evening) December 2026 at The Cardenal Belluga Theatre, San Fulgencio.) The group have also organised a Music & Variety Evening – comedy sketches, well known musical numbers just made for singing along – combined with a meal and drink, at Silverstones, Montebello on Sat, 18th July. The Stagestruck Players are a Murder Mystery Group who perform in local bars to raise money for their chosen charity, the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association. The Comedy scripts are all original and written by Leigh Humphries, the group’s director. We are currently taking our summer break but will be back performing regularly from September. The evening consists of a meal followed by the Murder Mystery performance that ends with the demise of one of the actors. After the Murder, the audience are encouraged, with guidance by either Inspector Clouseau or Detective Inspector Vera Stanhope to solve the crime.
