The International Choir Teulada, a long-established community choir on Spain’s Costa Blanca and formerly known as the English Choir, has started regular rehearsals again for the winter season every Thursday afternoon from 4 to 6 at Bar Mediterraneo in Teulada.
The choir sings 4-part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor, bass), its members range widely in age, nationality and experience and no auditions or music-reading skills are required.
Their repertoire is broad and includes musicals, popular and seasonal music. They regularly perform concerts throughout the year, including themed shows and Christmas events and are regularly asked to perform at the Moraira Moors & Christians festival.
The International Choir Teulada is not just about music and proceeds from their concerts are donated to local charities. Inclusivity and community spirit are a big part of their mission.
