How Dare She

Make time in your dairy for something special

If you are interested in issues to do with women and have not met this group, then get out your diary and find time to visit the exceptional Art Exhibition at Espai la Senieta in Moraira. It is open every day until Friday 15 May and you may be in luck as each morning and afternoon an artist or a member of the committee will be there to help you enjoy these works of art. 19 artists and 31 pieces of art interpreting the theme ‘How Dare She; women who chose to be different’. Emma Jane Lawton, curator and artist painted brave and courageous Madame Pelicot, shown here.
Make a note too of 26 June at the restaurant of the Golf Club, Jávea where, from 10am a discussion of the challenges of caring will be in an inclusive and secure format. They are quite an organisation! They say that their mission is to discuss serious matters in friendship and with enjoyment. For members and friends of EUWMA ‘‘Girls just wanna have fun(damental rights)”, we’ll display our talents to manifest all this during a minigolf afternoon at Kawana in Jávea on Friday 29 May. Join us! Info and booking: marion.oprel@gmail.com.
Other events are in the pipeline: a wheelchair and zimmer frame exploration of access issues, poetry and activities for International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. All will be made welcome. If you don’t speak Spanish you will be helped with interpreters.
