Calpe U3A Coffee Morning

27 U3A members attended the coffee morning at the Calpe tennis club last month. Our speaker was Demi Hobbs from DINDINS, a food company who deliver meals to your home in our local area. Demi explained that  all the meals are suitable for people who are not able to cook for themselves. A whole weeks tasty food can be delivered to your home once a week on a Monday. Menu print outs were left for us to take home. We had a treat as Demi brought apple pie and custard as a sample gift, one for everyone in the audience. Calpe U3A Men’s Dining Club
26 gentlemen attended our men’s lunch at restaurante La Terraza on Playa La Fossa, one of the best turnouts for a long time. A great time was had by one and all at what was one of the best restaurants we have been to and will certainly be coming back again. The food, the service and of course the drinks were all excellent.
We had 2 new members join on the day. Our next lunch has been arranged for Thursday 25th June in the Porte for the usual time of 1 for 1.30pm
